A Cute Story
I approach books with very little hesitation. Like so many things in my life, I jump in with gusto. The more I immersed myself in this one, the more I thought, "Hey, this is just like Guernsey!". It turns out that it has the same author. Just like its sister novel, "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society", this book is a good story about a single woman going to a small town to find herself and love. If you like one, you'll like the other. They are both feel-good books.
Audiobook
Since the book takes on different points of view, it's nice to have a multi-part cast. Each main narrator: Julia Whelan, Ann Marie Lee, and Tara Sands depicts their characters very well.
