I Don't Watch A Lot of HGTV. But When I Do, I Watch Fixer Upper

If you haven't seen it, take a look.
Something about watching Chip and Joanna Gaines makes me want what they have. They are doing what they love...with the people they love. Who could ask for more? How can I get that?
I can't be the only one asking that question, so I completely understand the demand for "The Magnolia Story".
Living the Dream
This book is part love story, part passion tale, part business book. Joanna and Chip Gaines have smarts behind their screen appeal. They worked hard at what they loved. They learned from their mistakes. They kept going when times got tough. Theirs is a story worth knowing, especially if you want to get out of what Joanna calls "the 9 to 5 box".
I can always tell when a story is inspiring because it makes me want to have more for myself. As I listened to this book, I was jotting down notes and lists of projects and plans for my own life. This is the perfect read/listen for the New Year!
Audiobook
Read by the Gaines themselves, this book is adds depth and background to the stars of "Fixer Upper". I especially liked that Chip and Joanna read their story in tandem. It was very conversational. I felt like I was hearing their story firsthand.
