When Life Happens

I would like to think that my life is pretty boring and predictable, but that would be straight denial.

This past year has been one of many new adventures; one of them being LitRALLY. It took awhile for me to find my voice and publish reviews with regularity, but it did happen and I was one proud blog mama.

And then, as it tends to do, life stepped in. I bought a house. A fixer upper that I absolutely LOVE.

Life is that thing that comes into your office, grabs a stack of papers and throws them in the air. It's the thing that gives you cozy rainy days at home as well as times when you trudge through the downpour. I love life. I just wish the days (come sunshine or rain) were longer.

Life is the thing that sabotaged my old blog (on fitness if you can believe it). I'm determined that it will only delay LitRALLY.

My Big Life Event

I bought a house. A fixer upper that I absolutely LOVE. The past two months have been full of renovations, furniture shopping, unpacking and cleaning. After almost three years living with my parents-in-law, I finally got to unbox some of my favorite stuff and take true ownership of my home. All of these home happenings left little time or energy for blogging.

The Good News?

I did continue reading. While this girl scrubbed grout, unpacked a household of forgotten items, and tested paint swatches, she also blasted through a ton of books. So look forward to some awesome reviews coming up!
